The devastating accounts and images bleeding out of the Ukraine have gripped our hearts.
As the brutality of the Russian invasion brings thousands to their last breaths, splits families apart, and leaves in its wake cities in shambles, it’s horrifying to think we may be watching the worst humanitarian disaster in Europe since World War II. Over 2 million Ukrainians fled as refugees before the military campaign even reached the two-week mark.
And yet, when Jesus is on the scene, there is hope.
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called…”
Ephesians 4:3-4
Around 7 out of 10 Ukrainians identify as Christians, including many Jewish believers who embrace Jesus as their Messiah.
In the midst of this horrific crisis, Uncharted is honored to have the opportunity to serve Jewish believers, Gentile believers, and non-believers alike. As we bear with our brothers and sisters in the Ukraine, and reach those who do not yet know Jesus, we are joining forces with a partner ministry in Europe. The team is made up of both Ukrainian and Russian believers! We are seeking to meet needs not only within the Ukraine, but to bring balm in the name of Jesus to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of refugees. Uncharted is overjoyed to also take part in extracting and caring for Jewish orphans and families who will be relocated to Poland, Germany, and Israel.
What a privilege it is to carry the aroma of Christ and to function as His ambassadors, with God making His appeal through us! We take confidence knowing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, even in the midst of profound brokenness.

Thank you for reminding the hurting that Emmanuel, the Prince of Peace, is near to the brokenhearted!
