Not Forgotten: Christmas Joy for Children in Syria

Look at this beautiful little girl. She lives in a refugee camp in Syria. Why you ask? Because Syria is one of the poorest countries in the world.

The brutal 10-year civil war devastated the nation. The population in 2011 was 23 million. Today, six million Syrians have already fled as refugees and another seven million are displaced within the country because their homes no longer exist. That’s over half of Syria!

The children have suffered the most and the population of orphans has ballooned. With over 1 million dead, many young children lost both parents. Add to that, 70-80% of Syria lives under the world poverty level. It’s common to see children scavenging for food out of filthy dumpsters.

Our Uncharted Syria National Team has a vibrant ministry with thousands of these children and many of them are orphans or from extremely poor families. Monthly they gather to host children’s events in many locations with these precious little ones whom Jesus loves. Whether they are Muslim, Druze, Alawite, or Ishmaelite, the children are not only open to Jesus, but many are also receiving Him as Savior.

But these children need our help. They don’t have coats for warmth against the harsh Syrian winter.

For just $10 you can buy a warm coat and send a present to a Syrian Orphan or a child who lives in extreme poverty.

Our goal is to help at least 2,500 children. This would make a great family project or maybe one for your Bible Study group!

Would you like to join us in sending these sweet orphans and children in poverty an expression of Jesus’ love with a warm jacket and a sweet treat to light up their life?

Here is the link to supply their need! Just click on it and for “purpose” select the “Orphan Project.”

Thank you for spreading the aroma of Christ in Syria! The Uncharted Team
