In this powerful episode of the Uncharted Ministries Podcast, Erik shares firsthand accounts from the front lines of ministry in modern-day Egypt. From remote villages hidden far from the tourist trails to remarkable stories of lives transformed by the Gospel, you'll hear how God is still moving in extraordinary ways today.

One woman endured terrifying nightly spiritual attacks that left physical marks on her body. An 82-year-old man spent his entire life rejecting Jesus—until an unexpected conversation with his granddaughter changed everything. And a small group of impoverished Egyptian believers committed to spending two years sacrificially saving enough money to free an enslaved Christian family in Pakistan.

These aren't stories from the Book of Acts—they happened just weeks ago.

Why is Forgiveness so Hard?

For seven years, I Found the Truth has shared powerful testimonies of Muslims who encountered Jesus — often through dreams — and risked everything to follow Him.

In this special Rewind: Behind the Scenes episode, Tom and JoAnn Doyle reflect on how it all began, the stories that changed them forever, and the unexpected moments that happened when the cameras were rolling.

What started as handwritten notes on a yellow legal pad became a global digital ministry reaching the largest Muslim populations in the world — including Indonesia, the Middle East, and beyond.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

• Why so many Muslims report seeing Jesus in dreams
• The real cost of leaving Islam to follow Christ
• How this series became a “safe space” for Muslims in restrictive nations
• The Iranian student who watched 5 episodes and chose Jesus in one hour
• The story of Mohammed in Gaza who said, “I’m going to pray that Jesus comes to me in a dream.”
• Emotional, funny, and Holy Spirit-filled moments that never made the main episodes

You’ll also hear how filming these testimonies deeply impacted Tom and JoAnn’s own faith.

These are stories of persecution, hope, courage, joy, and radical transformation.

This episode will encourage, challenge, and inspire you.

26 Million Views Later The Untold Story of I Found the Truth

In this episode of No Longer Nomads, Josh sits down with his mom for a personal conversation about their family's story—the good parts and the messy ones.

They talk about what it was really like raising six kids, the years when things went off the rails, difficult decisions they had to make as parents, and how JoAnn held onto her faith when she couldn't see how the story was going to end.

They also unpack Psalm 23 from a perspective you may not have considered before.

Why does it say God *makes* us lie down?

Why are so many of us uncomfortable with slowing down?

And what does “the valley of the shadow of death” look like when the valley isn't death at all—but cancer, family problems, fear, disappointment, or years of unanswered questions?

JoAnn also shares what happened when her husband was diagnosed with stage-four cancer, why there were moments in the emergency room when she couldn't feel God's presence at all, and how she learned to recognize His presence afterward.

Today, their family's story looks very different.

This conversation is about what happens when life doesn't follow the plan—and what it looks like to keep going anyway.

// In this episode //

• The Doyle family's years of rebellion and uncertainty
• What JoAnn did when her kids started walking away
• The advice that changed how they parented
• Why slowing down can be so difficult
• A different way to understand Psalm 23
• Walking through a stage-four cancer diagnosis
• Spiritual warfare and forgiveness
• Waiting 10–15 years for an answer to prayer
• Why difficult seasons can change you for the better
• What JoAnn wishes parents understood about raising kids

All 6 of Her Kids Walked Away From God… Then This Happened | Feat. JoAnn Doyle | Ep. 98

What happens when a mental health struggle isn’t only mental?

Clinical mental health counselor Dr. Natalie Atwell is back on No Longer Nomads—and this time, the conversation goes even deeper into the unseen.

After years of counseling clients, Natalie began noticing something troubling: cases were getting “weirder and stranger.” People were reporting sleep paralysis, disturbing spiritual experiences, involvement with occult practices, and struggles that didn’t always fit neatly into a traditional mental health diagnosis.

At the same time, practices once considered explicitly spiritual—tarot cards, manifestation, crystals, divination, psychedelics, and other New Age practices—are increasingly being presented as tools for healing and wellness.

So where is the line between mental health…and spiritual warfare?

In this episode, Josh Doyle and Dr. Natalie Atwell explore the difficult intersection between psychology, trauma, biblical theology, and the unseen realm.

Natalie shares how her counseling practice approaches cases where traditional therapy doesn't seem to explain everything—and why she believes Christians need to take both the psychological AND spiritual dimensions of suffering seriously.

Then the conversation goes even deeper.

Drawing from the work of Dr. Michael Heiser, Natalie unpacks the Divine Council worldview and the three biblical rebellions of Genesis 3, Genesis 6, and Genesis 11. She explains how this framework radically changed the way she understands humanity, spiritual influence, mental health, and what it means to be created in the image of God.

// In This Episode //

• Why some therapists are incorporating tarot and divination into counseling
• The rise of New Age spirituality and manifestation
• How Natalie distinguishes mental illness from possible spiritual influence
• Christians and demonic oppression
• Deliverance, repentance, prayer, and traditional therapy
• The Divine Council and the unseen realm
• Genesis 6, the Nephilim, and the Book of Enoch
• The three rebellions of Genesis 3, 6, and 11
• Narcissism, power, and spiritual abuse inside the Church
• Why Natalie believes darkness may intensify toward the end of the age
• What spiritual warfare can actually look like in everyday life
• Why our identity as image-bearers of God matters in the battle

Natalie also discusses her new book, Humanity Under Siege: The Unseen Realm and the Spiritual Battle for the Mind, and the years of research that led her to rethink how Christians approach some of the darkest struggles people face.

This isn't a conversation about ignoring mental health or labeling every struggle as demonic. It's about asking whether we've left out an entire part of the conversation.

Because if the spiritual realm is real, understanding what we're actually fighting matters.

No Longer Nomads — because no one was meant to wander alone.
